Hi Fr's,

Glad to send my 1st post in this Forum.

I'm currently working into IT Service Management @ Managerial post & interested in giving my ITIL v3 Foundation exam. I have purchased Foundation of IT Service Management Based on ITIL V3 book which will be as a reference for my studies. I have gone thru ITIL v2 books but not certified.

Need ur guidelines on the same about the exam details & approach.

Thanx in advance

If you cannot attend a course, I would advise that you consider the self-study course mentioned in another thread. about $200US. I think it is well worth it. You cannot sit the exam at the moment except through a Training Provider (there are no public exams, and it is not available at ProMetric or Pearson Vue test centres as yet. So it might be easier to try and attend a course.
Alternatively, build on your V2 knowledge through reading, and sit the V2 exam now at a test centre. Later, you can sit the V2-V3 Foundation bridge exam.

We don't know - at least at the moment the foundation results are being moderated, until the question bank is finalised, so that would stop any online testing. Other than that, we have no idea when APMG will allow it

Hi Liz,

I'm almost through with ITILF v2 exam & planning to give the exams this month. I spoke with one of the prometric center near to my location & they said that one exam EX0-100 is available (From Exin) at their center. Just need to confirm whether this is ITILF V2 exam?

Thanx in advance.
