I just passed ITILF exam today afternoon. When I entered the exam hall the lady Examiner told me ITIL exam is very easy. But infact it was not easy at all. Lots of questions were very confusing. I attended HP sponsored online training from IT Preneur. I did lots of practise from question bank from IT preneur but during exam I did NOT find almost any same question . May be there was only two. It was pretty hard and confusing also. So my advise is before you go to exam hall make sure that you really know all the modules from Service support and Service Delivery. Don't depend on only question practise, you may not find even a single question common in real exam. ITIL has changed a lot, it is the traditional one any more.

Let me tell you the secret you may not know. In ITIL exam you can go back to previous question anytime you want. Even there is a option that allows you to review particular question later time. In fact you can review any questions until you click on end exam. I also found out time is plenty enough. So you don't have to answer things in hurry.

Read all 10 processes and 1 function, practise question and go for the exam.

Cheers,

Congratulations on passing the foundation exam

As I had said, you have to know the material - even for the foundation exam.

Merely studying question banks against going to do it.

As you have so rightly confirmed for me.

Now that you have passed, what are your future plans for using ITIL ?

Thanks John. You know I work as a backline support engineer for a Global Service Desk. Most of the things I deal with are more technical than IT management. So I don't know how much I can use my knowledge of ITIL until I replace my manager Smile
Btw what are next path/certification after ITIL Foundation. I know other two is ITIL Practioner and ITIL Manager certificate. But what about ITIL V3 or ITIL Bridge? Is ITIL V2 Foundation and ITIL V.3 same ?

Seems you really hardcore ITIL. Where are based dude,

Thanks and Regards,

I am london, uk based.

You are involved in ITIL as a support engineer

Either exclusive or shared within

Incident - responding to service and incident request
Problem - trying to find out why
Change and release - rolling out or seeing the roll out of changes

Take what you do and mapp it to what you have learned about ITIL.

It will help you where you want to be..

ITIL v3 looks at things differently from ITIL v2.

And all future courses are classroom only.
