Hello All,

I have created a list of change types and wanted to know if anyone could help me add to this list please.

Here's what I have so far:

what you have there are categories of work that the change involves.


how have you defined the change model ?
do you have an emergency, immediate, normal and standard model / type defined
do you have change windows, lead times, implementation standard defined

for the listed types

i divided my changes into the following 'types'

system - wintel
system - unix
system - mainframe

each type would have a sub type some ofwhich they all have
software install/uninstall/upgrade
patch management

some would have specific types like network
IP config

you need to apply some thing similar to how species are defined and go from the general to the specific
