IT Service Management Program Manager
Job Functions: Under minimal supervision, this position serves as Program Manager of IT Service Management for the Clemson University Computing and Information Technology department. Define strategies and plans that are aligned with business needs of the University based on ITIL best practices. Manages processes, procedures, projects, systems, and resources for the support and delivery of quality services to enable customer-driven support.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science or related field and 5-6 years experience managing technology services, service management programs, processes or business process design and continuous improvement efforts. Experience with ITIL best practices related to service support and delivery.
This position requires a thorough knowledge of information tedchnology, including infrastructure, development and customer support services. Must have knowledge of IT service management principles and methodologies and of the university’s mission, programs, and objectives.
Will work independently and functionally manage cross-departmental teams throughout Service Management project implementations. Must be able to effectively plan, organize work activities and prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines. Must possess excellent communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
