Good afternoon all.

I´m looking for information about basic methodology of lifecycle. Anybody could tell me were I can found this basic information?

All projects that I checked have small parts dedicates to support of the systems and I like to improve my level about this special part of a project.

As a control systems engineer (1979 graduate), I can view the prince-II lifecycle principles of P-D-C-A as a closed-loop feedback control system where the actual output of the system is monitored and compare the planned objectives and the deviations used to trigger some corrective actions to fix such deviations.

ITIL is conceptually based on the Deming/Shrewhart cycle of Plan-Do-Check-Act. My organization has modified Deming to a standard set of lifecycle phases: Plan-Build-Implement-Assess.
