Resolvit Resources currently has an opening for a position within the Enterprise Architecture and Software Assurance Group. The selected candidate will lead all efforts in the implementation of best practices relating to I.T. service management.
DUTIES:
Execute an effective IT Service Management (ITSM) assessment leading to analysis and recommendation of prioritized ITSM improvement projects through the ITSM Executive Steering Committee.
Contribute to one or more Service Management projects through planning, design and implementation phases, including new process components, organizational structures, tools and technology or policies.
Provide cohesion and strategic/tactical leadership for the use and implementation of Peregrine Service Center and other tool sets identified for process improvement.
Act as co-chair/secretary to the Production Control Board and guide the board toward ITSM Governance though establishing vision, mission and structure.
Guide the development of the integration between Software Delivery Process and the implementation of ITSM projects.
Become a subject matter expert on ITSM, COBIT and ITIL best practices and drive continual improvement.
Participate in business case development, development and tracking of key performance indicators, and financial analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience with leading or completing ITIL related projects.
Must have a broad background with significant emphasis on I.T. Operations (2-4 years).
Hands-on experience within one or more leading IT management tools (e.g. Peregrine Service Center, HP OpenView, BMC, Tivoli, CA Unicenter, EMC Control Center) - certifications are a plus.
Experience in operational IT process design and improvement (e.g. ITIL framework, CobiT, CMMI) - certifications are a plus
Strong client-facing skills - assertiveness, strong communications skills, leadership, self-starter.
Able to work with all levels of the organization including vendors.
