Seeking gainful employment in Scotland

I am looking for work in Scotland, preferably in the Glasgow area. I can start right away as I took voluntary redundancy last year.

My summary blurb is:

- An (ITIL) experienced IT Service and Quality Manager
- Demonstrably successful in the development and auditing of management systems
- Thinks strategically and solves problems effectively.
- Analyses options and communicates clearly and without bias, maintains excellent attention to detail ensuring that high quality standards are maintained
- An excellent understanding of processes and procedures

I have good knowledge of ISO9000, ISO20000, Cobit, Balanced Scorecard, Strategy Mapping, Negotiated Tender process.

I have awareness of EFQM, TQM, Sarbanes Oxley, Six Sigma.

I would be happy in many roles but especially, Service Management, Quality Management and/or IT Governance.

I have worked in IT for more than twenty years and have also done Quality Management for several years.

If anyone can give me pointers about where to try or knows of possibilities please email me.

I have never been a consultant, but if any of you who are could give me some pointers about how to get into that area, I would also appreciate.

Glawgow is always a good area for Service Management jobs.
