We had 9 on my Mgrs Bridge, and 7/9 passed = 77%, but this included 2 people employed as specialist ITSM consultants who you'd expect to pass. The trainer didn't know about overall pass rates. |

no I will not be jealous.
Envious maybe.. but I will drown my envious emotion in one or more of the following
beer - good ones - not american pisswater beers like bud, miller - US microbrewery or english and european ones
armagnac
single barrel single malt whisky
Good kentucky bourbon - Maker's Mark or Elijah Craig

Congratulations to you both!
Unfortunately I failed my exam a few months ago.
Pretty much the same as you guys....I liked the course. Although it felt rushed.
I got 18/20 on the one mock paper, but come the exam I failed by 1 mark scoring 75% (15/20)
Apparently although the average pass rate is 65% more people FAILED then passed my course (8 of us)
I am busy now looking for new work, so will wait until new year to re-take

Tough luck with the exam. As I said previously it could have gone either way with me and I think if you take the exam a few times you're bound to strike lucky. |

Thanks Boris.
I am pretty sure I will pass if I re-take. I am thinking of taking the exam itself (£100 + VAT) as opposed to sitting the one day course (£300+)
I still think it's a really crappy exam
But thats probably me being bitter |

You didn't lose your job on account of not passing, did you? If so, that is harsh! _________________ DYbeach

No!
That would be unfair.
V3 Certification on hold for now. I have started a new role (6 months) and still on the learning curve

I'm doing the V3 Release, Control, Validation training at an Australian university through distance education.
Lots of course work plus online tutorials and Q& A sessions via Webex and Second Life. The session lasts for 13 weeks. I think it's a great way to do a V3 course, because you have all that time to absorb the material.
The proof will come soon enough. Sigh.
None of the course work is compulsory, but if you fail, the University will only give re-sit vouchers to people who have handed in the main assignments _________________ DYbeach

I scored in the high 60's for both papers, so I didn't quite match up to your score
But I like you worked very hard for my marks. Spent around 2 months revising and over 80hrs easily if not nearer 100hrs. Found past papers a real plus
I do have the means of buying books, but like I said I know a few people now who have just turned up, did the work and passed.
In UK there is no official PCR for my QA-IQ based course. I will try and get some overview books though. My course is also in Sept |
kanulondon,
Would you mind sharing where you were able to find past papers?

Please check w/EXIN and ISEB and APMG
they would have authorized sample exams - for a price of course
As for the exam papers themselves... they are the property of EXIN / ISEB /APMG
When you take the manager;s course.. you will be giving sample papers to tae the exam et al. _________________ John Hardesty

Echoing what UKVIKING said really.
I also had some VERY good tutors who gave me a shed load of material.
I am happy to pass it onto anyone that needs it. Drop me a PM with an e mail address
