This is a bit unscientific, because I have not been keeping records.
I've noticed that there has been a significant increase in the arrival rate of new members over at least the last few weeks. I wonder if the site has reached a "take off" point (a la WW rostow/) or if there has been some proselytising going on.
However, I have not noticed any significant change in the frequency of new posts. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

have you thought (or I have thunk) that the reason for new members appearing is the fact I have cease biting new members heads off
I am trying a different approach
I however am keeping some statistics
1 - the # of references to the 6th book
2 - the # of references to drinking
3 - the # of references to the # of the references on keeping statisticis - this is steadily increasing _________________ John Hardesty
