Getting Started with ITIL

Hi,

I am a Indian national working as a Network Administrator in Doha, Qatar. I have more than 6 years experience in System and Network Administration. Can somebody please answer my following questions.

1) Will ITIL benefit me in advancing my career?
2) Will it help me in doing routine tasks or solving IT problems in the current job more efficiently?
3) Since in Doha-Qatar there are no ITIL training institutes, I want to know from others their opinion about Online web based ITIL foundation training conducted by HP (ID: U8644AAE ) cost $449.
4) If I take the above course do i still need to purchase other ITIL books.
5) How much is the cost of ITIL foundation exam?
