FYI - EXIN have published guidelines for a new type of practitioner program.
Generally referred to as "Clustered Practitioners" the official Exin name is:
IPxx
Where I = i-Tracks (the new EXIN program)
Where P = Practitioner
Where xx = process area.
The first such program is IPRC. Release and Control. The Control processes (as per BS15000/AS8018 & one would suspect ISO20000) are the Change and Configuration processes.
This is a 5 day classroom course, with a focus on practical assignments and theory for the three process areas.
I believe the program is an attempt to refresh the Practitioner level of training which has not seen a large uptake around the world. Whether the Clustered Practitioner will be the answer - time will tell.
(Please note: I am not aware if ISEB have a similar program).
The EXIN program has been published for several months and I know of one vendor that already has been accredited in the program.
