ITIL :: View topic - Seeking ITIL process manager position in Dubai - UAE

Ukviking,
Lengthly posts responding to my second part of my message will you now go back to the first part where you have to give your email so i can send my original CV that looks like your examples and inshallah la samah allah you'll beleive.
Regards,
I think what everyone is saying (and I agree) is that you should stick to the original CV. The CV service you paid for has done a very poor job. There are many people on this forum with a lot of recruitment experience, and none of them have spoken in favour of the ornate vocabulary etc. _________________ Liz Gallacher,

In addition, no offense to the company that created it for you. But let me share with you the professional experience i had with them earlier. The company that I work for Advertises for a new job with them. Few days later, they send our HR manager a short list of CV's that they found. Guess who's CV was on that short list. Mine
1- I never applied for that Job
2- They never called me before passing my details to the customer
3- They never read my CV cause if they did, they can tell that I currently work for that company(very unprofessional) they lost our business right after this mistake.
So this is an example of the company you spent your money with. So you shouldnt be surprised, take this as a lesson learned. You had to pay for that lesson so it will be hard to forget. Dont depend on others and do it your self and take other users advices into consideration. If you think about it Waleed we have no reason to cheat you we are just trying to help you.
Regards,

This is an example of the recruitment industry in general. Good companies/individuals that are diligent, responsible and know what they doing are far few and in between... an exception.

when posts reach a certain number, the list becomes paginated
your replies are on page 1 of 2 pages at this time
Also, this is NOT a recruiter / recruitment site. This is a site that discusses ITIL. The section on Jobs is there as a courtesy
I use job centric sites to look for jobs
I also take advice when freely given
I did look at the CV posted on your website. It looks like you have been doing
As I am a Change Manager and have been for 6 plus years,
I have a couple of questions / points
what kind of environment were you a change manager for
infrastructure, desktop. network, application or what ? I would highlight what kind you were
job title
ITIL is a best practice.
ISO 20k is a standard for Service Management
GAAP is a standard for accounting practices
I am a Change Manager is a title
I am a network change manager is a title/ job role
I am an accountant is a title/role
Putting the word ITIL in front of it means absolutely nothing. ITIL is a tool I use to manage the process and the services that are provided. I also use CoBIT, Software develioment lifecycle, CMMi, Six Sigma, ISo20k, ISO27001 etc to do my role as the Change Manager - the role / title
The other thing is I have to say is that you have a .com TLD in your name. You have lots of other interests other than getting a job / role as a Change Manager as noted on your website / blog / cracked iphone hints / whatever
Why should a company hire you to be a change manager - which is a very difficult role and long hours - if your own outside interests appear to out weigh the desire to work for a company
In other words, if you have the time to do all that you do, how can you dedicate to a company your time to be a change mgr _________________ John Hardesty

because i have my own website that doesn't mean i won't have time to do my job.
Ukviking in one word your are provocative, and to me it seems you are the one who doesn't have time to do change management, but wasting his time on this forum.
Cheers everyone.

Walid, he was in 'nice and helpful' mode
I would not have found any of those quoted comments provocative. He was trying to give you the perspective of an employer.
Finding a job is not easy, and you have to give yourself every opportunity and advantage possible. Those were good tips.

Dear UKviking,
I used all your notes and modified my CV,
But still your question what kind of Change manager I was,
I handled all infrastructure. network, application, etc... that is why i put IT CCR manager, ITIL it was a mistake you are right may be the CV writer used it as ITIL CCR manager for Search Engine optimization.
Thanks and Regards. _________________ =========
