|
|
Good morning all,
I'm looking to gather more information about the cost of obtaining an ITIL certification. Can someone guide me in the right direction?
Especially if I'm looking to do self study.
1). Practice Exam cost
2). Test costs
3). Books
Is there a centralize place to see all the different paths and costs for self study?
Do you believe the states are going to adopt more of these practices?
I'm finding that its picking up more steam.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I'm just starting to search around to see all that I can find.
thanks in advance.

I sometimes think about it and it confuses me somehow. People find this site mostly by google, they create an account and fill the information and all then create a post then wait until someone replies.
Why dont they search for their question from the begining? if they were smart enough to get to this point. _________________ Ali Makahleh

What's funny is the ITIL Certification forum's very top (sticky) post is "Self Study for Foundation V3". _________________ Ruth Mason

Jonothan,
You're actually only asking half of the question. Sure there are costs.
But the real question you need to ask yourself is "what are the benefits (to me and my employer) of ITIL certification?"
You might get more value from this forum with that question.
Cheers,
Tom |

I said Google - because 90% of the answers you are seeking is located in the following site/site types
Training companies for ITIL
OGC / APMG / British Computer Society
official ITIL website
Wikipedia
ISEB
The only answer or information that wont be there is the question Tom posed
And sarcastic comment
The internet is extremely useful if one uses one's grey matter (brain), PC, keyboard and search the internet's multiple web sites. It is a wonderous thing
And to end it.. if I had to answer these questions for you... guess where and how I would get the information....... wow... i would use google
since you jdmarsh2g - do not pay me to do research for you.... my original comment w/o sarcastic and mean errata qualifiers stands _________________ John Hardesty

If jdmarsh2g puts his/her contact details on their profile, vendors (like me!) can make contact with details of their offerings. We are not allowed to advertise, and it is very frustrating when someone has a requirement that we cannot respond to! _________________ Liz Gallacher,
