Hi,
Wondered if anyone can help!
We are currently going through an improvement program which includes improving the current cost model we have for Problem Management.
Does anyone have a successful Cost Model for Problem Management by where you go into the granular detail of how you would calculate cost and resource of Problem Management depending on the complexity\difficulty of the contract to supply the service to?

Gman
hate to burst your bubble.. but as PM in company a is different from company b, there aint really no such thing
The issue is of course based ont he fact as to what kind of problem mgmt you are doing ?
if you have to go to outside vendors, the cost would be $£X
If you did it in house the cost would be £$Z
and it would depend on the PM process itself because - seriously, the PM process should determine how much time / money is to be spend on the diagnosis and how much is spend on building and billing the solution once decided upon _________________ John Hardesty
