I've listened to part of it at work through the day. Very informative. Great work. Might I most humbly suggest a little less text and possibly some pictures in the slides? _________________ DYbeach

Maybe I am thinking in terms of my pitifully short attention span.
Examples: when you are talking about policy, include an appropriate graphic, ditto networks and databases.
MS has many such graphics, and there are others readily available. Maybe even use something a bit ligt hearted, as the subject matter is quite, lets say, dense (I personally find it fascinating, possibly due to the section of brain I have had removed. Many will liken it to watching paint dry, but then they probably have more dynamic careers. Maybe they are accountants. Or proctologists)
The presentation was packed full of very relelvant and insightful information and insights, and it's too seldom that we get an opportunity to share the perspective of someone who has both walked the walk and made the efort to get certified. Rather than bombard both ears and eyes, the presentations could be a bit more high level.
My perspective only. I thought the subject matter and delivery were great, and I'm going to try to listen in 'live' to the next one _________________ DYbeach

I expect DY is thinking of pictures of matchstick men. I believe he may be old enough.
I must admit, I don't often put pictures in my slides; and then when I do, they seem to end up ever so complicated _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

Allow me to confirm the belief re DYbeach's vintage but the other assumption is erroneous _________________ DYbeach

A slide presentation should contain big pictures and few words. The discussion is the focus of the event, the slides are eye candy.
I suggest taking a look at the Presentation Zen website. For complex information, it's a bit over the top but I try to find a happy medium.
Mark Twain said, "I didn't have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one." This applies beautifully to documents and slides, too. _________________ Ruth Mason
