Hi all,
Over the course of revising for my Manager's Certificate, I've come to the conclusion that I'd like to move my career in the ITSCM direction in the not too distant future.
I'm currently a "Major Incident and Problem Manager" (I know, I know..), and have previously been a Problem Manager and an "SMC Supervisor" (which entailed being an incident, change, problem and configuration manager all in one!).
ANYWAY, enough of my life story - I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of moving into ITSCM from other ITIL disciplines. Is it difficult to find an employer who's willing to take on someone without specific ITSCM experience? Just generally interested in your experiences, not really after any specific advice
