Are you trying to test us? Very Happy

Your question is only capable of a very generalized response because an attempt at covering everything in detail would be harder than writing a book.

What are the points over which you have uncertainty? - If you can answer this in some detail, then we would be able to gauge the best level to pitch any responses and thus neither offer what you already understand nor that which you lack the experience/background to make good use of.

Srinivas

Input for what ?

All things taken care of ?

What do you define as all things ?

All things in one company regarding a software deployment is NOT the same thing for another company

In addition, one company CM and RM process may require X and the oanother company may requrie somehting completely different

"Asap" is not a valid date format. I have always taken the view that requests with "asap" should be fulfilled on the first occasion that no other work requires to be done, since other work has a specified requirement date to be achieved. In other words - "asap" goes at the back of the queue.

While the maintenance of the forum may be thought of as a service, the contributions of members are not available on demand.

If you offer some tangible context for your question, as I asked in my earlier post, then some of us may feel able to make a contribution. In fact, I'm sure there are already valuable discussions on the topic posted in the forum, if you look around.

To add to Diarmid

ASAP would work on me under the following conditions

1 - I work for you
2 - I am being paid by you / your organization

Otherwise, my default reply to ASAP is {expletive deleted}, I will do it when I feel like it

Adding please to ASAP reduces the type of {e/d} used

Again. Srinivas, what are you asking ?
