Looks like I'm a little late to the party... I just went looking for the v2-v3 bridge exam, and it seems that it's only available for resit candidates now.
Does this mean my ITIL v2 is obsolete? no longer relevant in the industry? Can I still use it on my resume?
As far as getting my v3 foundation cert... do I just have to start from scratch and take the v3 exam?
You do not NEED to take V3, everything in V2 is still valid, but V3 has a wider scope.
The bridge exam has finished, but you can buy a general V3 book and just sit the exam, or do a 3 day classroom course, or e-learning _________________ Liz Gallacher,

I had already checked the ITIL site and I did see I could take the exam for v3, but it does mean I have to "from scratch" instead of taking a shorter bridge exam. I was hoping I missed something somewhere. I guess I didn't.
Now, I'm just debating the value of getting the v3 cert...
