I have a very knowledged colleague with whom I am having a dicussion to differntiate between a service and a process. We have checked the book definitions and still unable to clarify analogies/differences between them.
Request all, especially senior ITILers to guide me on:
Can a service be called as a processe of delivering required outcome to business?

You have an account at the bank.
You go to the teller window to take money out of your account.
This is the service.
You fill out paperwork, hand it to the teller, she or he takes that, appropriate controls - ID check, account check and gives you money
