Hi,
I was wondering if anybody here actually practiced the ICT Infrastructure Management best practices? I briefly skimmed through it and it seems to me the stuff in the book is at a much high level than say SS and SD books. And most of it just seems same thing as I would have read in book about standard life cycle model for example... design, plan, deploy, operations, support... except that it's focused on infrastructure rather than software or services.
I might be engaging on managing a large infrastructure refresh project, so I am wondering if this volume is worth reading. I mean, as somebody who worked in IT for sometime now, I DO know that you have to design, plan, deploy, and support...
