|

Any thoughts on this question, brilliant gents. the question goes this way.
Chose one.
A. Functions are self-contained unit in performing specific types of work and are responsible for specific outcomes
B. Coordination between functions through shared services is vital to avoid technical "silos"
C. A Function is carried out by a person or a team
D. Function may access resources externally in order to provide the specific outcomes required from the functional unit
Ans. D.
My answer was A and my friend chose B. As you can see we were both wrong. Can anyone enlighten us to justify that D is indeed the correct answer. Thanks guys... |

Well I'm a lady not a gent but I'll weigh in anyway
Where did this question come from? Is it an official (current) paper?
a) Is very close to the ITIL definition of a function
b) Processes usually coordinate functions, not shared services
c) Roles are carried out by people
d) This could be correct
I'd have chosen a) as well as being a stronger answer than d). I'd be interested to know where the question is from because if it's live I can provide feedback to the accreditor.
