Hi all,

I have 2 questions:

- Is problem Management pro-active or reactive process?
- How does problem Management really work in real-time? I mean, what exactly they do?

Regards
Clarke

Answers to the question

Yes
PM is NOT a Real Time activity. They do a lot..enough that would fill a few chapters in a book.

What does who do?

Why have you posted this in the Change Management forum instead of the Problem Management forum?

Problem Management is the art of identifying problems and then resolving them.

The act of identifying (or seeking out) is proactive; the act of resolving (including evaluation, investigation and analysis, solution identification, and solution implementation) is reactive. However when a problem hits you in the face before being identified, then there is little or no proactive element.

Your question is too vague to be addressed more precisely.
