Hello, we are planning to launch an ITIL awareness campaign in our office. To get IT aware of, well, ITIL in general and its terminology. I was hoping to find some handouts to award ITIL knowledge, or just to give people something to look at.

I'm thinking the usual, ITIL mousepads, those pocket ITIL info books, ITIL posters, anything.

Does anyone know where items like this may be available?

Any help appreciated!

It is likely that you will to approach a general supplier and have them insert ITIL related text/etc onto the items. There are many such supplier around of course.

one of my favourite things is a diagram of the 11 Service Management processes that hangs in my office. It starts with the customer calling the Service Desk, and then has 2 branches: one to a mesh of the 5 Service Delivery processes, the other to a mesh of the 5 Service Support Processes. Unfortunately, I don't remember where I got it from! You could draw your own and get it put on a landscape-mousepad....
As a way to gain acceptance for ITIL, I find it's more important to focus on the business (what is known) and how the ITIL processes will support the business... Sometimes people are reluctant to embrace Yet Another Stupid Acronym
(just another of my bizarre observations)

Sharon, sounds exactly like the very polished glossy that BMC used to produce. (Probably still do) In my time it got handed out in quite a lot of venues. And yes, if it is the same one, it is quite well presented.
