We provide services to internal customers, the service as usual consist of several CIs. One of which is the Windows operating system. As customers/consumers of the service dont care about the version of the operating system, I am trying to understand what process in ITIL is responsible for planning of CI lifecycle, i.e.for keeping the windows operating system up to date. At least from the perspective that the CI must contribute to the whole service SLA and must be "healthy".
Any ideas on the process, role responsible for controlling this?
