I am looking for sample Problem Management reports. We are a contractor for the government and are implementing ITIL for our customer. I am in the Problem Management group and have to deliver daily reports to the customer. I am trying to find a sample report to assist our group in this. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a resource so we don't have to "invent the wheel?"

Hello zacpam,
May I please ask which government you represent?
There are many different types of reports for Problem Management. Some useful ones:
- Problems Opened vs. Problems Closed by a specific frequency (Month, Quarter, etc.)
- Problem Progress/State Reports (Open, In Development, Closed, etc.)
- Problems by Product
- Problems by Product Category
- Problems by Product Release
- Problems by Service
- Problems by Service Category
- Problems by Product Release
- Problems by Organization
- Problems by Customer/Client
- Problems by Severity
- Problem Assignment Reports
- Problem to Related RFC Reports
- Incident to Related Problem Reports
- etc.
As you can see, the list of reports is rather large when you go through all your permutations. I've only provided a very small sample.

Hello Zacpam,
I'm actually trying to understand how to identify which parts of the government are concerned with implementing ITIL. Would you be willing to exchange some email, off the forum, to possibly help me understand how your company went about it or possibly refer me to someone who can help?
If so, you can contact me through the sales email address on our company website at TraverseIT.com.
