Hi everybody, I'm implementing ITIL process in my company, and by the way we're very happy about the outcome.
We're running incident, problems, and configuratio management process. Now we're starting with SLA management, but I'm thinking in the next one.
Financial Management.
We're building our service catalogue, as service support for the business.
Ex, we've got an CRM, that serves for several business process.
Sales
Service Providing
Customer Care
How can I allocate the common cost of the CRM, for these different services?
number of users?
number of files managed by each proccess?
mix of both?
I'de like to hear about people who is currently using financial management or is just starting to use it, about different allocation criteria, for example for an CRM or ERP application

How is the license fee / price for the CRM tool calculated?
Prices of CRM packages I know are module based. Module price could be a good basis for allocating cost to different departments.
thank you for your answer, licence per module is a good choice
My problem is that I've got serveral services running onto one application, and most of times I've not a different modules.
My preferences are simply criteria rather than more sophisticated ones, but I've time to think about it.
I'm thinking in the activities inside the business process supported by our service,, trying to find simply and easy indicators to use as cost allocation criteria.
