It seems like no contributions on singapore ITIL training details. Appreciate if someone can feed informaiton about the training instiutes, their standards for both Foundation course and Service manager ceritifications.
They are all reputable training companies.Rememeber the Manager's certificate has only a 555% pass rate for both papers at 1 sitting, and this is not always down to the provider, but the commitment of the student. They all cover the same syllabus, with notes that have been acreditted, but what you need in addition is good exam prepartaion. as a freelance trainer, I deliver several different companies' training materials. A key question to ask is how they prepare students - some courses have a 1 question each day at the end of the day, which is marked overnight, some also have a full mock exam at the end of the week. These are very useful, as there is nothing like having an answeer marked to show you where you are missing the point, waffling etc.
The key to success is taking it seriously, concentrating whilst on the course, read the books, and exam technique.
I also recommend
Foundations of IT Service Management: based on ITIL (Paperback)
by Van Haren Publishing
ISBN:9077212582
\Which is very useful, as it looks at each topic in the same way exam questions do (For example, what problems would you meet implementing Incident/ Problem etc) _________________ Liz Gallacher,
