Hi All,
I have been lurking for some time now. I am new and want to work on my foundation exam. I saw some excellent pointers on the materials I need. My question is: Is business continuity and disaster recovery part of the ITIL? Is there a practitioner exam for these focus areas? If so, how much call is there for the ITIL in these areas. I would like to get my ITIL foundations and work on my ABCP. My thoughts are these two combined with my 10+ plus years of IT exprerience and vendor/vendor nuetral certifications should put me in position to begin consulting on my own in the next 3-5 years. Does this sound realistic?
I do not think the Foundation certificate would get you Consultancy work You need to aim for the Manager's certificate. _________________ Liz Gallacher,
