Remuneration for Incident & Problem Manager

Can someone guide as to what is the kind of remuneration i should expect for an Incident & Problem Assistant Manager role. I am located in India.

In NY, many companies see ITIL incident & problem management experience and/or training as a plus in hiring service desk managers - however, it really doesn't translate into financial forms.

It is also rare to see a IM or PM process head outside of either the service desk manager role or the data center operations manager role...

Well if someone can please give me some detail regarding the type off work involved here in this field then it would be better for me. I heard some of my distant relative is employed in this profession and is earning a handsome remuneration, and at the same time this work involves expertise. So I am interested to take up a career in this field too.
