Hello folks.
I have a testing center near me (NYC) that is offering a two day boot camp for ~ $1300.
Cost for the test is included and I am pretty sure that the boot camp is one that’s geared towards success (i.e. memorize these questions, don’t worry about fundamentals)
With that mind and my background (15yrs in IT, currently an IT director running a service desk org) I am wondering if I am better off buying a book and spending a weekend absorbed in it.
you haven't said for which exam they're offering this. For the Red Badge, I wouldn't go near the place.
For Foundations, it can be a solution, but my opinion is that reading the book is essential, and you might be better off with an online course for Foundations and reading.
And there is also the Practicioner exam, which is more focussed.
All in all, it might be a complementary element, but I don't think it's enough to do the bootcamp only.
