Can anyone tell me if lets say I fail the itil exam, will everyone at work know? ANy of the managers?
If I lie and tell 'em that I passed, then can I get away with it?

First why would you lie if you failed. If you failed. You failed. It is not the end of the world.
If your company paid for the course, the training company may have an obligation to tell them the # of people who passed.
You get the exam score. Only you _________________ John Hardesty

I don't think there's anyway to check to see if someone has passed the exam. Some certs such as my PMP has an online registry that you can search by name. I have yet to see anything like that for ITIL certs.

My advice - don't waste time worrying about the end result and trying to come up with ways of dealing with it if you fail. Instead, spend the time studying the material to ensure that you don't fail
