Hi,
I have been working in IT for 15 years and have the ITIL foundation course for the next 3 days starting tomorrow. I was told by the training provider that there was no pre-reading for the course but am a bit concerned that the exam is Wednesday afternoon and I'm coming into it from the cold so to speak. Can anybody recommend any good exam preperation websites or supplemental reading or should the instructor led course provide what I need to pass first time?
Thanks |

Don't worry! The course is as it says, a Foundation. If you have been working in IT for the past few years, the course will give you everything you need topass the exam. There are books, but you do not have time to read them beforehand - and you don't need to. _________________ Liz Gallacher,

Don't worry. The fact that you will have a three day course almost guarantees a pass. I had a 90% pass when I taught the Foundation class in two days (One and one half day teaching and then testing on the second day).
The two times I delivered a three day Foundation course, I had a 100% pass rate. |

Thanks for the feedback, feel a lot more confident after reading your responses and after day one of the course. I will of course continue to study in the evening as well as I don't want to mess it up by being too complacent!
Thanks again. |

For anyone of average intelligence and/or experience the Foundation only proves one's ability to stay conscious through three days of the bleeding obvious _________________ The IT Skeptic

you forgot
the ability to remember the information which rivals the sounds of paint drying and using the information to answer / guess to 40 questions
also the strength to endure the course _________________ John Hardesty

Hey! Most of the classes I delivered were full of fun and joy. Well, until midway through the second day when we got to Availability and Capacity. And Financial Managment was kind of dreary. But no one ever fell asleep except that one time in Boston. And she only nodded off three or four times.
