Depending on the software you are using, in OV would have a closed status and a closure code of backed out (or something along those lines pending your customization).
We either going to put it back to a Reviewing status to review the RFC again and then re-schedule it but we also want to capture failed RFCs for reporting purposes so we thought maybe we'd introduce a new status of Failed or something.
We currently have the following status's for RFCs, what do other people use and how?
Requested- Initial request of RFC, has been submitted
Accepted- Accepted by change management for review
Reviewing- Being reviewed by change management
Approved- Approved for implementation but still
Denied- Denied, change will not be implemented
Scheduled- Change has been approved and scheduled
Waiting- Change is waiting for more information Implemented- Change has been implemented
Withdrawn- Request for Change has been withdrawn
Completed- Change has gone through a PIR and is completed
