Monitors/Administers Change Management procedures to ensure that changes are properly recorded. As Change Manger, responsible for reviewing RFCs for
completeness, categorizing RFCs, conducting RFC impact analysis and risk assessment, notifying impacted individuals of changes, potential impacts, and schedules, monitoring the completion of all RFCs, including change planning, building, testing, and implementation to ensure that best practices are followed and change schedules met, and conducting Post Implementation reviews. Change Mangers also selects CAB (Change Advisory Board) members for RFC?s and facilitates CAB and Executive CAB meetings. Administers Configuration Management procedures. Perform audits on all Emergency Changes to ensure proper protocol followed. Perform random/regular audits of the process, determines and implements corrective actions. Create and administers processes to facilitate continual process improvement and evolution as relates to change and configuration management. Provide necessary and timely metrics and management reports to management. Champion best practices as it relates to Change and Configuration Management. Create presentations/in-house training to educate ISSD
associates and managers on the new Change/Configuration management procedures, including the benefits of use and risks associated with non-compliance. Provide Leadership in implementing Change Management at an enterprise level. Oversee the implementation, training, and rollout of an integrated change/Configuration Management toolset. Act as business owner and administrator of the Change/Configuration Management toolset. Act as business owner and administrator of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and the tools that support it. Act as main liaison the Service Desk to ensure full integration of the Change/Configuration management process with Incident and Problem Management. Develop relationships with key people related to systems
technology, business requirements, application development, testing and support. Work to achieve ITIL Change Practitioner and Configuration Practitioner certifications, preferable within two years of appointment to position Other management and administrative duties as required.
