My Client a global organization is looking for a Release Manager in Seattle with an ITIL background to ensure the smooth deployments of change from the various development teams to the operations team. Must have experience with Release Management as it pertains to operations. Primary responsibilities will be to work with developers, release analysts and operations team members to ensure the deployments of new solutions to the test and ultimately staging and production environments are of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will have skills gained by 3 or more years experience in Release Management or Technical Project Management.


Primary Responsibilities
• Project and maintenance deployment plans
• Project purchasing plans
• Overall deployment schedule
• Oversight of operations guides
• Oversight and review of build guides and software installation guides
• Oversight of the Prescriptive Architecture Guide
• Oversight of technical training materials for Operations Teams
• Regularly scheduled technical previews with Operations Teams
• Master Documentation updates
• Definitive Software Library updates
• Communication and enforcement of Operational Standards
• Release Readiness Reviews
• Post Implementation Reviews
• Change Advisory Board member
• Maintenance and development of departmental Release Management procedures
