Let me start by saying I am a great believer in ISO 9000 Series. However, my suggestion to most clients is to implement ITIL. Once you are about 80% there, then open the ISO manuals. You will find with just a bit of peaking and tweaking, you will be there. If you try to do both at the same time, neither end up implemented well.
