Does any one have any knowledge of using SAP CRM for configuration management? SAP claims ITIL compliance using this tool but I fail to see how the detailed relationships between CIs can be established in Ibase management.

Hi,

As new configuration manager, one of my challenges is to manage configuration of our SAP Software. Before running my first workshops with the others process leaders, I am collecting some information.

What is SAP CRM ? Customer Relationship Management Question or something related to configuration management ?

As SAP has its own Software Configuration Management (change requests, release management), I guess it would be unefficient to collect all those data into another Configuration Tool (We are using Assyst yet). Does someone has experience in interfacing SAP with Assyst ? Same question with Oracle Objects.

Thank you for your interest.

ps. the little french I am apologizes for his poor english ...

As I believe There is nothing called ITIL Compliant or ITIL Certified for tools

The best you can get it for tools is havingt hem say it is based on ITIL

ITIL is for people to follow
