BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS: The Policy and Procedure Writer is responsible for the documentation of policies and procedures governing various IT a managed services which supports a large corporation. The Procedure Writer will work under the supervision of the Service Delivery Development Manager, providing advice and assistance to various service delivery process owners and operators in documenting and maintaining CMMI compliant and ITIL conformant policies, procedures, and process aids.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Write, edit, and format policies, procedures and process aids using approved online development tools. Conduct site visits and interview managers, process owners and subject matter experts to gather information about policy, processes, and procedures. Create new forms and revise existing ones as assigned. Track pending changes to published policies. Update policy and procedure as needed or assigned within the specified timeframe.
