Hi all,
I am having difficulty developing guidance regarding change management documentation required for audit purposes. The company I work for does not have a CMDB unfortunately. The task assigned to me, is to develop guidance documenation for the following:
1) Determing a minor change vs. major change
2) Based on definition of minor vs. major change, change management workflow must be appropriate based on change
3) Document appropriate testing required for specific changes
Thus far, I haven't found much guidance on determining testing documentation required for specific changes (i.e. cosmetic change, change affecting financial reporting, etc).
