Difference between “best-practice” and “methodology”

Does anyone have a standard definition of what a “best-practice” and “methodology” is & what the difference is between them?

I do not know if these are official but here is how I think of them.

>Best Practices: A collection of process and procedures that are considered the defacto standard on how to run an organization or aspects of an organization

> Methodology: a collection of methods or processes, but not necessarily considered the defacto standard
