Hi..,

We are BS15k certified.., now planning to move to ISo 20k.., can anybody help me in knowing the difference between BS15k and iso20k

Check out the BSI website it might have more details on it.. ISO 20000 is nothing more than BSI 15000.

There is virtually no difference at all.

There are many web sites around on ISO 20000 already (including a specialist forum): just search Google. It's early days for the standard, but it is moving quickly. It is a momentous change in the ITSM sphere.

I also believe that there is a fast track conversion, for BS15000 to ISO 20000. You are best speaking to whoever issues your certificate about that.

Straight from the standard...

BS ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005

This British Standard reproduces verbatim ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 and
implements it as the UK national standard. It supersedes BS 15000-1:2002
which is withdrawn.
