Hi,
1) Can anyone tell me what exams are needed to get from Fundamentals to Masters.
2) Is Manager the same as Master?
3) What certification do you get for the red and blue book Service Delivery and Service Support?
4) Can one self teach himself/herself all the way to Masters or do you need in-class training?
1 - To sit the Serivce Manager's, the only *certification* you need is Foundations. In reality, it takes far more than book knowledge to do it. I've been in IT for more years than I care to admit, and I'm still worried about my Service Manager's exam
2 - Masters = Service Managers.
3 - The red and blue books are the core of the Service Manager's exam.
4 - You need the class. It's one week Service Support (Blue Book) and one week Service Delivery (Red Book). The third week has a day of revision, then two days of written exams - one Service Delivery and one Service Support (5 questions / exam / 3 hours / day). The class will involve lots of projects, and homework, and you'll demonstrate your Manager's experience.
