Being in an IT environment we inevitably reduce all terms to either an acronym or abbreviation. My search for any standards has been fruitless so in an effort to standardize I'm interested in hearing what everyone else is using for process abbreviations (if any).

e.g. Change Management = CHM

In my part of the ITIL universe we tend to abbreviate even further:

AvM: Availability Management
CpM: Capacity Management
ChM: Change Management
CfM: Configuration Management
IcM: Incident Management
PbM: Problem Management
ReM: Release Management
SDM: Service Desk Management
SeM: Security Management
SCM: Service Continuity Management
SLM: Service Level Management

Where it sometimes gets dicey (I hate acronyms Evil or Very Mad ) is
CMDB: Configuration Database
CDB: Capacity Database
