Never heard of GroupLink
I did not realize Novell still existed ?!?!
But I am quite sure Frank will come into this and discuss the benefits of his company's tool. _________________ John Hardesty

Thanks UKViking you not hearing of the products is informative in itself.
Yes Novell still exists. It is humorous you comment that way since one of our reasons for implementing an ITIL system is to assist us in our evaluation of our Novell solution. As Novell moves into the Linux realm with Suse we are unsure of its ability to compete against a primary Windows solution.
Being a small organization M$ makes a great presentation of a complete out of the box solution. M$ has Microsoft Operations Framework, has anyone worked with it?

Hello Rigauxc,
I would recommend that you're careful when selecting any tool. Understanding, not only what you need to do in the short term but also what you need to do in the long term, is critical.
May I please ask what your short term goals and your long term responsibilities are?
If putting in a help desk tool is all you need to do then fine. But, if you have to deliver more than just that, you may want to take those responsibilities into account when selecting a tool.
Best Regards,
