ITIL :: View topic - Implement now or wait for ITIL V3
Posted: Sun Feb 18, 2007 3:01 pm Post subject: Implement now or wait for ITIL V3
As I understand ITIL V3 is likely out in April 2007. My organisation has finalized on implementing ITIL. Should we wait for V3 and then implement it, or start implementation now and consider V3 next year.
The exams won’t be ready until about start of 2008, so where are you going to get a V 3 Master from to consult to you? By *END* of 2008 he or she may just know what they are talking about, and come 2009, you will have made enough progress in some of your ITIL disciplines to actually consider the next maturity step, to version 3.
