What are the intersections between ITIL and ISO 27001?

Can anyone suggest me a document or can tell something about it?

In the main discussion forum, there are archived commentary about it.

ISO 27001 has 16 portions - which all requirements within each must be met. 10 of the 16 are very similar to the 10 in Service Support/Delivery (v2).

In ISO 27001 there are requirements that have to be done (SHALL)
In ISO 27001 there are recommendations that can be done (SHOULD)

ITIL is Best Practice for IT Operations

Nothing is required. If it works in your organization and it is best practice for you... then it is for you..

We came in under ISO 17799 - and explained that any Incident can be handled in the same fashion as a Security Incident. From there we've gone a long way forward, and are still moving right along with an ITIL implementation now that Security is satisfied that we are doing what we promised.
