Hi all,
As you know ITIL V2 deals with monitoring in Capacity Management (Service Delivery process). In new ITIL V3 it seems to be a more focused in Service Operation (includes Monitoring)
Well my question is about, do you know the exact data in when ITIL V3 is going to go live?
And regarding monitoring data, do you have any idea of how much time should we stored data regarding monitoring events?
I do not have a clear idea about this issue, it is really interesting to keep some data, some time so we can study trends and other parameters, but if we keep the data too much time this data will be obsolete and not useful, do you have any idea of how much time keep this monitoring data? Has any of you deal with this issues before?

Javier,
Saludos. I think it's too early to see/learn the new changes in ITIL. I think most companies and practitioners will continue to work with ITIL v2 until the learning curve is passed.
