ITIL :: View topic - Where to find an end2end Monitoring System
How if you put one large lcd/plasma monitor on the room that many of propietary people can see that monitor. So there will be alot of people can see what happen on the infratructure (the change, availability, etc). I think it good to be transparent

Normally (and I'm using the monitoring used by larger data centres here as a model) the "screen" is positioned so that the front line people can see it. It generally doesn't make sense to have it anywhere else, because most other areas of an organization are not staffed to specifically have some one in a particular area (and what's the point of having a monitoring system if no one is there to watch it)
However, that needs to be backed up by some sort of automated callout system by your monitoring software to the people who might have to diagnose and fix whatever incidents may arise--- since often the people manning the phones and responding to the business are not the same technical experts who can correct incidents.
