Hi Everyone,
I've had my foundation for quite some time and I am in the process of looking for practitioners training. Now that V3 is out do I have to retake the foundation? Can I still get the practitioners?
You do not have to retake the Foundations Certification - you're okay. Possessing your IT Service Management Foundations Certificate is one of the pre-requisites for taking any advanced ITIL course. Just fax that to the training provider you choose and complete the required pre-reading and you're all set. Good luck!
If you have a V2 Foundations, and you want to take any advanced V2 course, you're fine.
If you have a V2 Foundations, and want to take any of the advanced V3 certifications, you need to take a Foundations Bridge Course and then move on.
If you have a V3 Foundations, and want to take any of the advanced V3 course, you're fine. _________________ v3 ITIL Expert
