Hello,

Just wanted to know if there are set standards or best practices for release note formats in ITIL for any type release (delta, full, or package)? And if so what is the format/layout/outline for the release notes?

Hello Ezanaa,

I could be wrong but I don't believe that there are. Release Management has always been a fuzzy space for ITIL.

Frank,

Thanks a lot for the feedback. It certainly helps in the search process. I tried looking at PRINCE2, and likewise did not come up with anything specific addressing release note formats.
